How It Works

Donating with Redonate is easy and impactful. Just book a free collection online, prepare your items, and our team will ensure each item finds a second home. We’re committed to reusing clothing, shoes, and homeware items to support sustainable fashion and local charities. Plus, 80% of the proceeds from your donations go directly to a selected charity, amplifying your impact.

 

By choosing Redonate, you’re joining a community dedicated to giving clothes a second life and supporting meaningful causes across the UK.

1. BOOK A COLLECTION
Book online a free clothes collection by few simple clicks. You'll have to choose the charity you wish to support first.
2. PACK YOUR DONATIONS

Fill up any bags (trash bags are perfect!) or boxes with your donations. Please make sure your items are acceptable - find the list here. Ensure clothing, bric-a-brac and books are packed separately.

3. PREPARE FOR COLLECTION

In the evening before collection day (usually 9pm), you will receive an email with your collection time slot. Simply, leave your donation at the prearranged place or wait for the driver.

4. YOUR CHOSEN CHARITY BENEFITS

Once we've collected and resold your pre-loved items, your chosen charity will directly benefit with 80% of the proceeds.

    SIZED TO FIT NO LARGER THAN A MEDIUM BOX
  • Electronic devices
  • Tableware, crockery, cutlery
  • Beauty products, perfumes
  • Trinkets, ornaments, antiques
  • Candles, photo frames, vases
  • Soft toys
  • New or barely used bed linen & towels
    (NO duvets, pillows, mattresses)
  • BOOKS
    MUST BE IN GOOD QUALITY
  • Please pack clothing, bric-a-brac, and books separately.

  • Dirty, wet, ripped, damaged clothing
  • Traditional clothing
  • Single shoes
  • Personalised workwear & uniforms
  • Duvets, pillows, cushions, mattresses
  • Plastic toys, puzzles, board games
  • Baby stuff (prams, baskets, etc.)
  • Large, dirty, damaged bric-a-brac
  • Carpets, rugs, mats, curtains
  • Furniture, lampshades, hangers
